Pluto Trigger is generally connected to your camera via camera cable. But sometimes the camera needs to be placed far away from the Pluto Trigger, such as when using laser mode; in this case, the camera cable is not long enough. The RF Transmitter & Receiver, however, can be used to make a wireless connection between your camera and Pluto Trigger! The transmitter is connected to the camera port of Pluto Trigger, and the receiver is connected to the camera. The RF transmission range extends up to 100 meters.
If you have more than one camera to shoot an event from different angles, you may want to set off every one of those cameras at the same time. This can be accomplished by using the RF Transmitter & Receiver and additional receivers. You can trigger an unlimited number of cameras simultaneously in this way! The synchronization speed reaches up to 1/200 second.
The Receiver can also be used to trigger your speedlight flash or studio flash.
Sony/Minolta cameras and flashes need additional hot shoe adapters to work with the RF transmitter and receiver. The Transmitter and the Receiver each requires 2*AAA batteries. Batteries are not included.
